I have always had a fascination for the seas, rivers, lakes or even little streams. I remember in my early days in corporate life when I was staying with my brother Gopi at Versova, Mumbai, I would walk across the road on an early Sunday morning and clamber on to the rocks that lined the sea shore and listen to the waves rolling up to the shores and crashing onto the rocks.
Here are a few photos from my collection taken during during fabulous holidays in Canada.
The Niagara Falls is a delight that you can savour visit after visit. Each time the roar of the water and the mist and the rainbows that breakout from time to time are unforgettable experiences.
A quieter but delightful nevertheless is the Calabogie Lodge Resort on the Calabogie River. A time share resort near the river, beautiful little townships and forests all around make it an idyllic place for a quiet holiday.
The 1000 Islands cruise along St. Lawrence River, has amazing sights all along the river that keep you enchanted through out the duration of the cruise. The cruise straddles the border between Canada and the US.
Your postings are a delight to read, Hari. I am happy you are back energetically, after a lull. Keep up the writing sprint,
